We contract to create plugins, ActiveX controls, and macros for various
applications.
ActiveX controls
For use with Internet Explorer, all Microsoft office products, and a number
of other applications, we create customer-specific controls. Such controls
can also be used to increase effectivity of your internal Visual Basic
development, as they integrate very smoothly into the VB workbench and offer
all the well known support for VB programmers.
Mozilla
Firefox
®
A notable plugin developed by us for all Gecko-based products (especially
Firefox, of course), is the
O2C Player.
Examples of it's use can be found on our
projects-page.
This plugin defines a pretty extensive programming interface. About 60
properties are accessible via JavaScript, as well as about 120 callable
methods. Of course, there is an ActiveX variant too. From a programmer's
point of view, there is only a minor difference between the two versions. The
O2C player notifies the application of about 15 basic events, some of which
provide additional information to dispatch sub-events.
Very few Firefox plugins support such a rich bi-directional interface.

Google Chrome
This plugin is also available as an extension for Google Chrome.

COMponents
COM objects are close relatives of ActiveX Controls, but
usually not visible at the user interface.
(To be precise, ActiveX Controls are special COM objects.)
You can use COM objects as magical helpers of your ASP Internet page,
or in your Visual Basic or C#/.NET application.
Many developers use COM objects, or would like to use them,
if objects fitting their needs existed.
We create components specially for your needs.
You are offering a telescope or dome control and would like to control them
with Astronomers Control Panel?
No problem, we can create the needed COM object to integrate your control.
You would like to render charts with informations about a production process on your
Intranet site? Again, not a problem at all, we provide you with the tools to
easily create this site.
Other Aplications
Many aplications offer macro or extension interfaces. We have created
such extensions for various applications in the past:
- Adobe Acrobat
Allows the embedding of plugins into Acrobat Reader as well
as the Acrobat professional products for PDF production.
- Photoshop
Allows the automation of complex Photoshop processes,
for example the export of different variants of a project
with varying layer visibility.
- ArCon
Allowing complex extensions of the program, up to the seemless integration
into other applications (for example, to create a catalogue for ordering
customised off-the-shelf houses).
This is not a complete list, and for everything there is a first time — if
you need a plugin for an application not mentioned here, please just ask us!
